Beyond the Sacroiliac: Chiropractic Insights on Pelvic Floor Health and Mobility in Pregnancy
This presentation delves into the essential role of the diaphragms of the body and their interconnected influence on pelvic floor function, particularly in pregnant women but also across broader populations.
Through a chiropractic lens, we will explore the connection between sacroiliac joint adaptation and pelvic floor function, examining how these structures can work synergistically to support stability, mobility, and overall pelvic health.
Attendees will gain insights into the unique challenges faced by the pelvic floor during pregnancy and birthing, understanding common functional disruptions and injuries that may occur.
We’ll also discuss the critical role of breathing in enhancing pelvic floor mobility, exploring techniques that help chiropractors guide patients toward improved stability and functional outcomes.
This talk provides practical, alternative approaches for chiropractors to help patients achieve optimal pelvic floor health.
